Q: What inspired you to start UniquelyBA?

A: It started with a question: Why not us?
Why not create a brand that makes fashion personal, inclusive, and empowering? Why not build something that reflects the people and communities we care about—something that doesn’t just print shirts, but prints purpose?

We saw too many people—especially in nonprofits, small businesses, and community groups—settling for generic, ill-fitting apparel that didn’t reflect who they were. So we decided to change that. As a woman- and Black-owned small business, we knew the power of showing up boldly and authentically. “Why Not Us” became more than a question—it became our mindset.

And truthfully? We’re just a fun, faith-filled couple doing our best to build something meaningful. We’re a mix of fly-by-the-seat-of-our-pants energy with just enough planning to keep things moving. We love God, we love our children, and—most importantly—we love each other. That love is the foundation of UniquelyBA. It’s what fuels our creativity, our hustle, and our heart for the people we serve.

Q: What does “making fashion personal” really mean to you?

A: It means giving people the freedom to express themselves—whether they’re designing a shirt for a church retreat, a fundraiser, or a surprise gift for someone special. It’s not just about printing a logo. It’s about telling a story, celebrating identity, and making sure everyone feels seen in what they wear.

“Why Not Us” also means: why not make apparel that fits real bodies, real budgets, and real missions? That’s why we offer inclusive sizing, low minimums, and a collaborative design process that puts our clients in control.

Q: You mention inclusive sizing and low minimums. Why are those important?

A: Because everyone deserves to feel confident and comfortable—no matter their size, shape, or budget. We offer inclusive sizing because representation matters. And we keep our minimums low so that even the smallest teams or tightest budgets can still create something meaningful. Whether you need 1 shirt or 100, we’ve got you.

Q: What’s the design process like for your clients?

A: Collaborative. We don’t just take orders—we co-create. Clients come to us with ideas, and we help bring them to life with mockups, design tweaks, and honest feedback. It’s a partnership. We want every piece to feel like it was made with you, not just for you.

Q: What’s the heart behind UniquelyBA’s promise?

A: Our promise is simple: every piece we create is made with intention, quality, and heart. Whether you're outfitting a team, launching a fundraiser, or creating a one-of-a-kind gift, we’re here to help you bring your vision to life. We care about the details because we know how much your message matters.

Q: What’s next for UniquelyBA?

A: We’re growing—but staying grounded. We’re expanding our offerings, exploring new printing techniques, and building more partnerships with nonprofits and small businesses. But at the core, it’s still about people. About stories. About making sure every shirt, hoodie, or jacket we create helps someone feel proud of who they are and what they represent.

“Why Not Us” continues to guide us. It reminds us to take bold steps, to serve with heart, and to keep showing up for the communities that inspire us.

Q: Any final words for your community?

A: Just this: thank you. Whether you’ve ordered from us, shared our work, or even just cheered us on—we see you. And we’re honored to be part of your journey. As a small, woman- and Black-owned business, your support means everything.

So if you’re wondering whether your story deserves to be seen, heard, and worn with pride—our answer is simple:
Why Not You? Why Not Us?

We’re Amanda and Benjamin—just two people who love God, love our kids, and love each other. We started UniquelyBA to support you in your endeavors and have some fun along the way. Let’s create something meaningful together.
